DescriptionAs a result of movement, our client, an engineering business, is looking to recruit an HR officer to take whole responsibility for all employee led HR activity within the company. As part of the opportunity, our client is looking to invest in this individual and sponsor them through their CIPD studies. This role could suit an expereinced HR Officer looking to grow or a highly organised Office Manager / Administrator looking to move career into HR.
Co-ordination of the Staff Recruitment process
Co-ordination and control of the new employee induction process
Control of the annual training budget
Monitoring, communication and continuing reduction of the employee absences
Control of staff communications including structural changes, promotions etc
Point of contact for all company HR related staff issues
Co-ordination and control of the internal disciplinary process
Co-ordination of the staff exit process
Active member of the employee forum and Social committee
Continuous development of the HR function including legal updates, best practice etc
Ad-hoc HR duties as and when required
Input in to the Employee Engagement roadmap and implementation of that roadmap
Co-ordination of the annual 1-2-1's and appraisal processes
Provide cover for Payroll and Payroll related queries
Ideally looking to train or are part way through CIPD studies
Two years experience within a stand alone HR role or solid Administrator/Office Manager
Previous experience working for an SME organisation, preferably in a blue collar and HQ environment
