Our client, a 750 employee base company that has been operating in it's field for 250 + years and has a world wide recognised brand, is looking to recruit an experienced CIPD Qualified HR Business Partner who is used to doing elements of a broader HR role, in particular recruitment, and a knowledge of L&D, reward, etc. It is a busy environment surrounded by ambiguity due to all the changes being driven forward so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate resilience.
The business is moving from a transactional HR function to being a true partner with the business. This is being tackled on a number of levels, one of which is through this role. As a result you will need to be a good influencer and be able to work through change as well as being able to drive the pro-active HR agenda through solid meetings, being inquisitive and developing relationships.
The role profile has responsibility for owning and driving the delivery of the HR agenda and HR plans for the head office functions. This will be achieved through great management and leadership practice and initiatives to enable change.
With a strong focus on resourcing at peak times you will lead the recruiting process to ensure hiring success with managers seeing you as a trusted advisor. In addition you will contribute to the culture of the business and help improve employee engagement, retention and develop internal talent.
This position requires drive, tenacity, creativity, resilience, initiative, good humour, high energy, a strong sense of urgency and interpersonal savvy.
