Description

Our client is a leading provider of telecom and broadband services is seeking to recruit a Financial Control Officer.

Overall purpose of the role:

• Assisting Financial Control Manager in various ad-hoc projects
• Reconciling control accounts and ensuring the accurate and timely input of financial transactions into finance system (currently MS AX)
• Processing authorised invoices on to the finance system, preparing and making payments to suppliers

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reconciling various balance sheet control accounts
• Reconciling debtors and stock control accounts
• Month End process, including Fixed Assets, accruals & prepayments, bad debt provision
• Processing stock movements, stock takes and stock reconciliation’s.
• Daily CIS Reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving differences between orders and invoices by liaising with the employee, Logistics personnel and the supplier
• Dealing with supplier/internal customer queries
• Processing foreign payments

The successful candidate will have:

• 2 – 3 years’ accounting experience (Preferably studying towards at accounting qualification- CAT/AAT).
• Numerate with Excel intermediary capabilities.
• Microsoft Office and Keyboard skills.
• Discretion with confidential information.
